Noble's Transmissions

Noble's is the ONLY place I will go, or recommend. My first experience was when I was 16 back in 1999. I had a truck that had constant transmission problems due to me driving it like I stole it every day. Noble's had it fixed in less than a week, charged us (my Dad) less than quoted, and I never had another issue. Between myself and my family, we have used Nobles more than 20 times. Last week Ed saved me from major failure by noticing my trans was overheating when I only took it in for a driveshaft issue. He recommended some changes and now my trans stays at 170 after driving for over an hour in stop and go traffic in Tyler on a 90 degree day. I have an offroad trip planned for next week. I would have probably ruined my transmission if it weren't for Ed. I read some of the other reviews, every shop makes mistakes now and then. Ed WILL make it right. Also, he stands behind his warranty completely. I have had 2 warranty issues that led to Noble's doing a full rebuild at no cost to me.

Went here after my transmission went out a 2nd time. 1st time I used someone else and got a brand new transmission. This time I went to Nobles after a reference from my cousin. Best decision ever!!!! I was going to replace it and they recommended letting them rebuild it. It saved me money and they did an excellent job. Drives better with Nobles rebuilding than it did when another shop who put in a brand new one. I thought I was having issues with the fix but when I brought it back they showed I was having misfires in the engine and they didn’t do that in the shop so I had it towed to another facility and it was fixed. Nobles could have said or done anything but they were honest, worked fast, and they know how to give good quality work. Chevy has in a very bad way dropped the ball on quality and it was my mistake trusting the name from the good days. Nobles make the nowadays low quality Chevy parts drive better than Chevy would do it. They also charge waaaaaay less than any dealer and transmission work is what they do. They are the best and will be here for all future transmission issues. Thanks!!

I can’t say enough good things about Nobel’s Transmissions in Tyler. From the moment I walked in, they were polite, professional, and extremely knowledgeable. They took the time to explain everything clearly and made sure I understood my options without ever trying to upsell or recommend unnecessary parts or services. The work was done promptly, and their communication throughout the process was excellent. It truly felt like they genuinely care about each customer and take pride in doing things the right way. Honest, straightforward, and dependable. Highly recommend!

They are very courteous, speedy and want to keep prices down for their customers. My friend needed a replacement part for her SUV, and it was performed within the acclaimed timeframe, updates given during service. Great people who saw a need in our community. Thank you for excellent service!
